Karaçomak Barajı Havzası Koruma Planının Hazırlanması
The task is to protect the Karaçomak Dam Lake, which is located within the borders of the Central District of Kastamonu Province and where drinking water supply is provided to Kastamonu City Center, by conserving the water sources that feed the dam lake, determining the conservation areas by evaluating the characteristics of the water source and the basin through scientific studies, and ensuring the quality and quantity of water of the Karaçomak Dam Lake are preserved and improved on a basin basis, based on scientific data regarding its social, economic, physical, geological, hydrogeological, hydromorphological, ecological, and chemical properties, as part of the "Preparation of the Karaçomak Dam Lake Basin Protection Plan" project.

Within the scope of the Progress Report:
Pollutant Sources Affecting Water Quality: Domestic Wastewater, Solid Waste, Industrial Pollutants, Non-Point Source Pollutants
Within the scope of the Final Report:
Determination and Modeling of Water Quality, Determination of Groundwater and Surface Water Quality, Water Quality Monitoring Program (water quality monitoring program including sampling points, sampling frequency, and parameters to be analyzed), Pollutant Map, short, medium, and long-term measures are taken considering existing pressures and effects to protect, improve, and reduce water quality and quantity.
Within the Scope of the Protection Plan:
