Batı Akdeniz Havzasında Su Kalitesi İzleme Projesi
This comprehensive initiative, developed as part of the Basin Monitoring Program for the Western Mediterranean Basin, involves sampling from designated monitoring points. It focuses on measuring and analyzing the parameters specified in national legislation, including the biological monitoring of quality components in river and lake waters, physicochemical monitoring, and hydromorphological monitoring. The results of these monitoring activities are carefully assessed and reported in accordance with relevant regulations. To improve data management, these findings are systematically entered into the DSI SVT-Water Quality Module along with coordinates on a basin basis. The process also requires facilitating the seamless transfer of data into this system through SVT. In parallel, the current state of infrastructure for both the Administration and the Region is evaluated within the project scope, opening the way for short and long-term strategic planning initiatives.
Definition of the actual services provided by our personnel within the scope of the task:
Sampling and Monitoring: Sampling from designated monitoring points, including biological monitoring of quality components in river and lake waters, physicochemical monitoring, and hydromorphological monitoring. This process includes measuring and analyzing parameters determined by national legislation.
Legal Compliance: Evaluation and reporting of all monitoring results are carried out in accordance with the relevant legislation. These results are entered into the DSI SVT-Water Quality Module along with coordinates on a basin basis.
Data Transfer and Integration: The data is seamlessly transferred to the DSI SVT system, integrating information into the Water Quality Module and providing a comprehensive overview of the current status of both the Administration and the REGION's infrastructure.
Infrastructure Assessment: A detailed examination of the current infrastructure of the Administration and the region is carried out as part of the project.
Planning: Based on the findings, both short-term and long-term planning is conducted to address identified needs and improve overall water quality and infrastructure management in the Western Mediterranean Basin.
